Halifax, NS - Mount Saint Vincent University has selected Rhyme + Reason as its recruitment marketing agency partner. Rhyme + Reason will provide strategic marketing, creative, and media planning and buying services. The contract was awarded following a competitive RFP process.

Rhyme + Reason will help MSVU navigate an increasingly competitive post-secondary recruitment landscape.  Agency founder Tyler MacLeod says MSVU has an enviable advantage in challenging times.

“Today’s students are facing a lot of uncertainty about their future so it’s important that university education not feel out of reach,” said MacLeod. “For more than 150 years, MSVU has worked to make education more accessible. Our goal is to effectively communicate that commitment to supporting diverse students.”

That understanding of MSVU’s mission is what made Rhyme + Reason stand out, said Kelly Gallant, MSVU’s associate vice president of university relations.

“Rhyme + Reason demonstrated they understand and are aligned with our values,” said Gallant. “Their hands-on approach and performance marketing emphasis will help us identify and attract students who will thrive at MSVU.”

Rhyme + Reason has partnered with Mira Media for media strategy, planning, and buying. Ashleigh Kuniski launched the media agency earlier this year.
